Cooking Masterclasses with Chef Lecturer Niall Murray
Niall Murray is a top Chef Lecturer from Glasgow City College who runs cooking demos and workshops all over Scotland.
Originally from Ireland, Niall has lived and cooked in Scotland for almost 30 years. He trained as a chef in London’s Savoy Hotel before travelling around the world, cooking for rock stars including Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart.
Niall has a passion for sustainability and reducing food waste, which is reflected in his teaching philosophy. He believes that cooking with local, seasonal produce not only supports the community but also results in tastier dishes.
Niall shared his love for cooking and sustainable practices with us, to create delicious and environmentally conscious meals and you can download his recipes below.

Cooking Demos with Celebrity TV Chef, Tony Singh, MBE
Sun 3rd Sept ’23- 12pm & 1.30pm
Tony Singh MBE is a top celebrity chef, known for his fusion of Scottish ingredients with flavours and spices from around the world. Tony grew up in Leith, Edinburgh and learned to cook in a Sikh community kitchen. His Mum’s Haggis Pakoras served as an inspiration for him to combine the two cultures and bring some subtle spice to great British produce. Tony’s passion led him to win Scottish Chef of the Year and Master Chef of Great Britain. He has also opened his own award-winning restaurants, written cookbooks and appeared on regular TV spots such as A Cook Abroad, Saturday Kitchen and most recently, the past few weeks on ITV’s Cooking with The Stars, mentoring Clare Richards from Steps.
