Calling all Donut Fans!

Springfest Donut eating competition needs volunteers…

If you’re a lover of donuts and always finish them off in quick time, then we’ve got a delicious, fun competition for you to enter at Springfest on Sunday 7th April.
At 3pm and 5pm on our main stage, we’ll be hosting, along with the help of Chef Martin Sweeney, a donut eating competition for children and adults with fresh, delicious donuts courtesy of Mr Donut Man.
For kids at 3pm – we’re testing their flexibility and asking them to nibble their way through a donut attached to a string without using their hands and whoever completes the task within the time limit, will win a prize.
Our adult competition at 5pm will see them tasked with polishing off a plate of donuts and the first to finish will be announced as the winner and presented with the winning rosette.
To enter, just come along on Sunday at least one hour before the competition and let Alana, our stage host, know that you’re a donut lover who wants to take part.
